This week-long field experience for Junior Naturalists ages 6-12, is led by our park Naturalists with a focus on natural resource education and FUN! Activities include fishing, seining, crabbing, clamming, birding, shell hunting, and so much more!

Time • Monday–Friday, July 6th-10th, 2026 • 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Requirements • Ages 6–12 • Must be able to swim
What to Wear • Swimsuit • Shirt and shorts (long-sleeve sun shirts recommended) • Hat • Water shoes or sports sandals
What to Bring • Towel • Change of clothes • Raincoat • Water • Sunscreen • Lunch and snacks
Meeting Location • Nature Center (7 miles south of the park entrance, parking lot 16)
